Diameter is 7 CM

Radius = \\  \frac{7}{2} cm

Distance is 1 Revolution =2π r

 \\  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{2}

= 22 CM.

Now, 11 M = 1100 CM

No of revolution is =

\cancel\dfrac{1100}{22} = 50

Given: The diameter of a car wheel is 7 cm.

To find: Revolutions taken in moving 11 m

Explanation: Let the diameter and radius of the car wheel be d and r respectively.

d= 7 cm

r = d/2

= 7/2 cm

Perimeter of the car wheel

= 2 π r

= 2 × (22/7) × (7/2)

= 22 cm

In one revolution, the wheel covers a distance equal to its perimeter.

Therefore, distance covered in one revolution

= 22 cm

Total distance to be covered

= 11 m

= 1100 cm ( 1 m = 100 cm)

Number of revolutions taken

= Total distance to be covered/ Distance covered in one revolution

= 1100 / 22

= 50

Therefore, the car wheel takes 50 revolutions to cover 11 m.
