Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of circle = 10/2

= 5 cm

Area of circle = πr^2

= (22/7 × (5)^2) cm2

= (22/7 × 25) cm2

= 550/7 cm2

Diagonal of square = 10 cm

Area of square = 1/2 × ( diagonal)^2

= (1/2 × (10)^2) cm2

= (1/2 × 100) cm2

= 50 cm2

Area of shaded region = ( Area of circle - Area of square)

= (550/7 - 50) cm2

= 200/7 cm2

= 28.57 cm2 ( approx.)

Hope it helps :)

Radius = 10/2= 5

Area of circle = 22/7×5×5

= 550/7

= 78.57 cm sq.

let 10 cm as a side of square.

Area of square = ( 10× 10) cm sq.

= 100 cm sq.

Area of shaded portion= (100-78.57) cm sq.

= 21.43 cm sq.

Hope it will help you .
