We can say that distance traveled by cycle in 1 turn is equal to circumference of the wheel. So we will find the Circumference of wheel. Circumference of the wheel is equal to π times diameter d. Hence Cycle will move 94.2 cm in 1 turn of the wheel.

hope it helps you

Question:

  • The diameter of a circle tyre is 30 cm how far will it move in one turn ?

To find:

  • Distance by circle in 1 round.

Given:

  • Diameter of circle tyre is 30 cm

Solution:

We know that

In one turn of wheel the wheel can travel the circumference.

Diameter of circle tyre = 30cm

Circumference of wheel is equals to π times of diameter d

      = πd = π × 30

      = 94.2 cm

      \large{\underline{\boxed{\mathfrak\color{cyan}{94.2\:cm}}}}

Therefore, we can say that circle will move 94.2 cm in one turn of wheel.
