The diameter of a circular disc is 28m. Find the cost of the tape required to wrap around the disc at the rate of Rs.7 per meter.​

Length of boundry of circle, called Circumference, is calculated by formula 2πr

where r is the radius of the circle.

So circumference of the given circle will be:

 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 = 88m

Radius r = d/2

Since cost of 1m tape = Rs 7

Therefore cost of 88m will be:

88 \times 7 = 616
