GIVEN, DIAMETER = 5 cm

THEREFORE :

RADIUS = DIAMETER/2

RADIUS = 5/2

RADIUS = 2.5 cm

THEREFORE :

AREA = πR^2

AREA = 3.14 × 2.5 × 2.5

AREA = 19.625 cm^2

here's ur answer...

given the diameter of the circular disc = 5cm.

therefore Radius of the circular disc = 5/2

= 2.5cm

π = 3.14

area of the circular disc = πr²

= 3.14 × 2.5 × 2.5

= 19.625cm²
