Diameter of the circular garden = 220m

Area = 2πr. = 2 × 3.14×220m = 1381.6m

SmallMiniDoraemon: area of circle = πr^2

SOLUTION :

The diameter of a circular garden = 220 m    (given)

To be found :-

The area of the garden

Radius of the circular garden = 220 ÷ 2

                                                 = 110 m

[ ∴ As radius of a circle = diameter ÷ 2 ]

Area of the circle = \bf \pi r^{2} unit sq.

[ ∴ In which r is the radius of the circle ]

Area of the circular garden =  \bf \pi r^{2} unit sq.

=  \frac{ \bf{22} }{ \bf{7} } \times { \bf (110)}^{2} m sq.

= 38028.57 m sq.

Hence,

The area of the circular garden is 38028.57 m sq.
