Answer:

Rs 6468

Step-by-step explanation:

we have to find the inside distance and outside distance.

for inside distance , radius = 140/2 =70 m

length of circumference =2π×radius

                                      =2×(22/7)×70

                                      =440 m

now, outside distance

radius = 70 +7 = 77 m

length of circumference = 2π× radius

                                      = 2×(22/7)×77

                                      = 484 m

total length = 440 +484 =924 m

cost = Rs 7× 924 = Rs 6468

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

in case of the circular park whose diameter is 140m,

the circumference of park=2πr=2r x π

                                          = 140 x 22/7    (2 x radius=diameter)

                                          =440m

in case of the new circle or circular structure formed when a uniform path of width 7m is constructed around the park,

the diameter of the park including the path=140m + 7m + 7m=154m

the circumference of the park including the path=2πr=2r x π

                                                                                =154 x 22/7

                                                                                =484m

total length to be fenced=440m + 484m=924m

total cost of fencing=rs7 x 924= rs6468
