firstly diameter=28m

then,radius will be14m

area of small circle will be 22/7×14^2

=616square metres

now the width of road=1.75m

therefore,new radius will be 14+1.75

=15.75m

so,area of large circle will be 22/7×15.75^2

=779.625square metres

now,area of road will be

area of large circle-area of smaller circle

=779.625-616

=163.625 or 163.6(approx.)

now cost fer grovelling per m square=rupees 5

:.cost for grovelling road will be 163.6×5

=818 rupees

therefore,cost for road grovelling is 818 rupees
