The diameter of a circular park is 84 m. A 3.5 m wide road runs on the outside around it . Find the area of the road .

radius of park = 84/2= 42

area of park= 22/7*42*42

=5544 m2

width of road= 3.5+42

=45.5

area = 22/7*45.5*45.5

=6506.5m2

area of road=

6506.5-5544 = 1062.5m2

so required answer is 1062.5
