radius of the park = 84/2 = 42m
area of the park = (22/7)×42×42 = 5544m^2
width of road = 3.5m
.•.total radius = 3.5+42 = 45.5m
total area = (22/7)×45.5×45.5 = 6506.5m^2
area cover by the road=6506.5-5544= 1062.5m^2
total cost of constructing the road=1062.5×240=Rs255000

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

radius of the park = 84/2 = 42m

area of the park = (22/7)×42×42 = 5544m^2

width of road = 3.5m

.•.total radius = 3.5+42 = 45.5m

total area = (22/7)×45.5×45.5 = 6506.5m^2

area cover by the road=6506.5-5544= 1062.5m^2

total cost of constructing the road=1062.5×240=Rs255000
