Given:

The diameter of a coin is 4.2 cm

  • Radius = d/2 => 4.2/2 => 2.1 cm

Formula: Circumference of circle = 2πr

Solution:

Circumference of circle = 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 2.1

= 44/7×21/10

= 44 × 3/10

= 13.2
