the diameter of a cycle wheel is 28cm how many revolutions will it make in moving 11 km

Answer:

11km=1100000cm

radius=28/2=14cm

area covered by wheel in one revolution=2πr=2×π×14=28×22/7=88cm

no. of revolutions=total area covered/area covered in one revolution

                             =1100000/88=12500revolutions
