d = 77 cm
r = 77/2 cm

circference = distance covered in 1 rotation = 2πr = 2×22/7×77/2 = 242 cm

242cm = 1 rotation
242000 cm = 1000 rotations

Ans ) 1000 rotations

Hope this helps... plsss make it the brainliest

The cycle wheel would take 1000 rotations to cover the given distance.

The diameter of the wheel is 77cm.

Therefore its radius is 77/2=38.5 cm.

The formula for the circumference of a circle is 2*pi*radius of the circle.

=>Cicumference of the wheel is 242cm or 0.000242km.

Therefore, the number of revolutions taken to cover 2.42km is 0.000242/2.42=1000.
