Solution :

Given that,

  • Diameter is 12cm ,

Radius = D/2 = 12/2 = 6cm

As we know that,

  • Surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r + h)

Where , r is radius 6cm and h is height 14cm

》2πr(r + h)

》2 × 22/7 × 6 (6 + 14)

》37.71 (6 + 14)

》37.71(20)

》754.2 cm²

Hence , Surface area of cylinder is 754.2 cm²
