Given :-

  • Diameter of cylinder (d) = 7cm
  • Radius (r) = 7/2 cm
  • Height (h) = 16 cm

To Find :-

  • L.S.A of cylinder
  • T.S.A of cylinder

Solution :-

We know ,

L.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh

{2 × \dfrac{22}{7} × \dfrac{7}{2} × 16 }

→ 22 × 16

→ 352 cm²

And,

T.S.A of cylinder = 2πr ( h + r )

{2 × \dfrac{22}{7} × \dfrac{7}{2}  ( 16 + 3.5) }

→ 22 × 19.5

→ 429 cm²
