Hola
Answer -
Given - Diameter of cylinder - 7 cm
Height = 16 cm
To find - 1. Lateral Surface area
2. Total Surface Area
3. Volume
Calculation -
____________________
1. LSA or CSA of cylinder - 2πrh
r = d/2 => 7/2
Therefore,
2 × 22/7 × 7/2 × 16
= 2 × 22 × 1/2 × 16
= 44 × 8
=> 352cm²
LSA => 352cm²
____________________
2. TSA of cylinder = 2πr ( h + r )
= 2 × 22/7 × 7/2 ( 16 + 7/2)
= 2 × 22 × 1/2 ( 16 + 3.5 )
= 22 ( 19.5 )
= 429cm²
Therefore,
TSA = 429cm²
____________________
3. Volume of cylinder = πr²h
= 22/7 × 7/2 × 7/2 × 16
= 22 × 1/2 × 7/2 × 16
= 11 × 7 × 8
= 77 × 8
= 616cm³
Therefore,
Volume = 616cm²
Hope it helps !
