Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

CSA = 3.768 sq.m

◆ Explaination -

# Given -

d = 80 cm = 0.8 m

h = 1.5 m

# Solution -

Radius of the cylinder will be -

r = d/2

r = 0.8/2

r = 0.4 m

Curved surface area of the cylinder is given by -

CSA = 2πrh

CSA = 2 × 3.14 × 0.4 × 1.5

CSA = 3.768 sq.m.

Therefore, curved surface area of the cylinder is 3.768 sq.m.

Hope that is helpful...
