as diameter is 1.4 therefore radius will be 0.7

so now CSA of cylinder will be 2* 22/7 * 0.7 * 2
= 8.8

now 8.8 * 5
= 44

therefore answer is 44 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

AnswEr:-

Area covered in 5 revolutions = 44 m².

Step by Step Explanation :-

Given:-

Diameter of the Garden roller = 1. 4 m

Length of the roller = 2 m

We know that,

:\implies\sf\; Radius = \dfrac{Diameter}{2}

:\implies\sf\; Radius = \dfrac{1.4}{2}

:\implies\large\boxed{\sf{\red{ Radius\; = \;0. 7 \;m}}}

Formula of Curved surface area of cylinder =

:\implies\sf\; 2\;\pi\;r h

So, the area labelled of the garden roller in one revolution is 8.8 m².

Now, area labelled of the garden in 5 revolutions = 8.8 × 5

:\implies\large\boxed{\sf{\red{ 44 \; m^2}}}
