The diameter of a garden roller is1.4mand it is 2m, long.how much area will it cover in 5 revolutions?

Diameter = 1.4 m
r = d/2
r = 1.4/2
r = 0.7m
curved  surface area of cyclinder = 2 * 22/7 * r^2                                                                                                    = 2 * 22/7 * 0.7 * 0.7                                                 = 8.8 m^2
                           No of revolution = 5
Therefore  = 8.8 * 5                   = 44 m2

Hey mate here is your answer ....

diameter =1.4 so radius =1.4/2=0.7m
height =2m

curve surface area of cylinder =2πrh
π=22/7

2*22/7*0.7*2
=8.8m^2
number of revolution is 5
=8.8*5=44m^2
