ANSWER :-

WE KNOW THAT:

  • DENSITY = MASS / VOLUME

  • MASS = VOLUME × DENSITY

WE KNOW THAT VOLUME OF SPHERE = 4/3 πR^3

GIVEN:

DIAMETER OF THE LEAD BALL = 21 Centimetres

Therefore Radius of the sphere will be 10.5 Centimetres

By substituting the radius value in the volume of sphere formula we get:

==> 4/3 × 3.14 × (10.5)^3

==> 4,846.59 cm^3

  • We know that Mass = Volume × Density

BY SUBSTITUTING THE VALUES WE OBTAINED WE GET:

MASS = 4,846.59 × 11.34

= 55,202.66 grams
