Diameter of metallic ball =4.2cm

∴ Radius of metallic ball =2.1cm

Volume of metallic ball =  3 4 πr  3  =  3 4×π(2.1)  3  =38.81cm  3

Density of metallic ball =

Volume of metallic ball

Mass of metallic ball

  ⟹ Mass of metallic ball =2.5g/cm  3  ×38.81cm  3

 =97.025g≈97g

Given :-

Diameter of a metallic ball = 5.6 cm.

=> Radius, r = 2.8 cm

Density of the metal is 18g per cm³

To find :-

Mass of the ball

\large\bold\red{Formula  \: used :-} \\

\small\bold\red{Volume of Sphere  =  \frac{4}{3}\pi \:  {r}^{3}  } \\

\small\bold\red{mass \:  = Volume of Sphere  \times density}

\large\bold\red{Solution:- }

Volume  \: of  \: Sphere  =  \frac{4}{3} \pi \:  {r}^{3}  \\  =  \frac{4}{3}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(2.8)}^{3}  \\  = 91.99

mass \:  = density \: of \: metal \:  \times Volume of Sphere  \\  = 91.99 \times 18 \\  = 1655.82 \: gm \:  \\  = 1.65582 \: kg
