The diameter of a road roller, 1 m 40 cm long is 70 cm. Find the number of revolutions it takes to level the road if the total cost of leveling the road at rs 7 per m^2 is rs 17,248.​

CSA (cylinder) =  = 2 x 22/7 x 70 x 70  = 30800  = 308  

also, area = total cost / cost per meter

  => total area = 17248/7 = 2464 m.

Therefore,

no. of revolutions = total area / area in one revolution

                            = 2464 / 308 = 8

Thus, 8 revolutions
