The diameter of a rollar is 84 cm and its length is 120cm . it takes 500 complete revolution to move once over to level a play ground . find the area of the play ground in m2.

Given,
Diameter = d= 84cm
Given that:
roller is cylindrical shape.
Height of roller = l of roller = 120 cm
Radius = r= d/2 82/2 = 42cm
then, C.S.A of roller = 2πrh
                                 = 2×22/7×42×120
                                 = 31680cm²
now, area of field = 500 × C.S.A
                            = 15840000cm²
                            = 1584m²
So, area of playground is 1584 m²
