The diameter of a roller is 2.5 m & it's length is 1.4 m . How much area will cover in 7 revolutions ?

  • So ,Radius  =  \frac{2.5}{2}
  • Length = 1.4 m

To find :

  • We have to find how much area will cover in 7 revolutions .

Solution :

  • Curved Surface Area of cylinder : 2πrh

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{2.5}{2}  \times 1.4 \\  \\

= 11

We know that area covered by roller = Curved Surface Area

So :

  • 7 × 11
  • 77
