The diameter of a roller is 84 cm and its length is 120
cm. It takes 500 complete revolutions to move once over
to level a playground. Find the area of the playground in cm²​

So the radius is 42cm.

Length ( in terms of a cylinder, height) = 120cm.

Curved surface area = 2rh.

Where is 22 ,

= 2 × 22/7 × 42 × 120

= 31,680cm²

Now we simply multiply this by 500 to get the playground's area.

31,680 × 500

= 1,58,40,000cm²

Which is 15,8400.
