the diameter of a soller is 84cm and its length is 120 cm it takes 500 complete revolution to move once over to level a playground. find the area of the playground in m2​

•Diameter of a roller=84 cm

•Radius of a roller =84/2cm =42cm

•Length of the roller ( h )=120 cm

We know that roller is in the form of cylinder, thus we have to find curved surface area of cylinder.

CSA of cylinder =πr²h

CSA of cylinder =π 42×42×120 cm³

CSA of cylinder =211680π

The roller takes 500 rounds , therefore

==>500×211680 π cm²

==>105,840,000 π cm²

==>105840π m²

Therefore, Total area of the playground on which roller has revolved=105840π m²
