Given

We have given diameter of sphere which is 6cm

To find

We have to find the volume of sphere

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

How to solve

Step1: Firstly we will find radius of sphere by using diameter.

Step2:Then will apply formula for volume of Sphere

Step3:Radius we find and hence evaluate it your required volume.

Diameter of sphere= 6cm

We know that Diameter is twice of radius or radius is half of Diameter.

So,radius will be = D÷2= 6÷2=3

Radius =3cm

Now, applying formula for finding volume

volume of sphere =4/3πr³

Extra information=>

  • Volume always written in cubic units.
  • Since,the sphere is a curved shape figure so,it's curved surface area is equal to the total surface area is 4πr²

More about sphere

  • A sphere is a curved shape figure means it has no flat surface.
  • Also,it has no edges nor vertices .
  • It's surface points are at equidistant from its centre.
