The diameter of a wheel is 70 cm. How many times the wheel will revolve in order to cover a distance of 110 m

Given that Diameter of wheen = 70cm.

Then the radius of the wheel = 35cm.

                                                 = 0.35m.


We know that circumference of the wheel C = 2pir

                                                                           = 2 * 22/7 * (0.35)

                                                                           = 2 * 22 * 0.5

                                                                           = 22.



Now,
 
Therefore the wheel revolves = 110/22

                                                   = 5.


Therefore wheel revolves 5 times.
