First , find the circumference of the wheel :-

= Pi times diameter

= Pi times 98

= 22/7 times 98

= 2516/7

= 308

Then, you divide the total distance by the circumference to get the rotations:-

= 1540 / 308

= 5

Thus, the number of rotations is 5

Find the radius:

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 98 ÷ 2 = 49 cm

Find one revolution:

One revolution = 2πr

One revolution = 2π(49)

One revolution = 308 cm

Find the number of revolutions needed to cover 1540 m:

one revolution = 308 cm

Number of revolutions needed = 1540 ÷ 308 = 5

Answer: 5 revolutions
