The diameter of a wheel of a car is 1.12m . find the distance covered by the car in making 500 revolution by its wheels.

circumference of wheel=1.12m×22/7=(0.16×22)m=3.52m. distance=3.52m×500= 1760m =1 km760m

Here is your solution

Given :-

D=1.12m

Then
r = 1.12/2
r = 0.56m

circumphernce in one revolution = 2πr

=> 2×π×0.56

=>1.12π

in 500 revolutions = 500×1.12π

= 560π

= 560×22/7

= 1760m or 1.76 km
