The diameter of a wheel of a car is 50 cm. Find the distance cover by the car during the time in

which the wheel makes 100 revolutions.​

so radius=50/2

So the distance travelled by the car in one revolution = it's circumference

i.e

circumference=2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 50/2

=2×11/7×50

=2×550/7

=2×78.57

=157.14cm

Therefore distance covered in 100 revolutions.

=157.14×100

=15714cm

or 157.14m
