Answer:

1.21 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Here Diameter of wheel = 77 cm

We know that:

Distance Covered in one Revolution = Circumference of wheel

            = π × 77 cm   [∵ Circumference = 2π×radius or π×diameter]

            = (22/7)×77 cm

            = 242 cm

Distance covered in one revolution = 242 cm

Distance covered in 500 revolutions

                                   = 242 × 500

                                  = 121000 cm or 1.21 km     [∵ 1 cm = 1/100000 km]

Hence, 1.21 km covered in 500 revolutions.

pawan1491: yaar circumference = 2 πr
nickkaushiknick: Yes and circumference = pi ( diameter) too... in 2(pi)(r) you can put diameter in place of 2r directly because 2r = diameter. You don’t need to calculate radius :)
pawan1491: No brother
nickkaushiknick: yes brother...ok tell me isn't 2(r) = diameter..?
