given, diameter of pipe , d = 21 cm
speed of water flowing inside , v = 2km/h
length covered by water in 1 min, L = 2km/h × 1min = 2 × 5/18 × 60 = 600/18 = 100/3 m
now volume of water released in 1 min, V = volume of cylinder
= πr²L = πd²L/4 [ radius = diameter/2 so, r = d/2]
= π(21cm)² × 100/(3 × 4)
= 22/7 × 21 × 21 × 10-⁴ × 100/12
= 66 × 21 × 1/12 × 10-²
= 115.5 × 10-²
= 1.155 m³
