The diameter of roller of is 84cm and it's length is 120 cm .If it takes 500 complete revolution to move once over to level a playground . Find the area of the playground in metre square?

Hey Mate let me find the solution.....

GIVEN.....

FOR THE ROLLER ( CYLINDER )

H = 120 CM

D = 84 CM

THEREFORE, RADIUS = 84/2
= 42CM.

NOW

calculation......

csa \: of \: the \: roller \: = 2\pi \: rh \\ \\ = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 42 \times 120 \\ \\ = 31680 {cm}^{2} \\ \\ now..... \\ \\ area \: of \: the \: playground \: \\ \\ = csa \: of \: roller \: \times 500 \\ \\ = 31680 \times 500 \\ \\ = 15840000 {cm}^{2} \\ \\ we \: know \: 1 {cm}^{2} = 100 \times 100 {m}^{2} \\ \\ 15840000 {cm}^{2} = \frac{15840000}{100 \times 100} {m}^{2} \\ \\ = 1584 {m}^{2} \:is \:the\:playground\:area\\ \\ hit \: a \: thanx \: if \: u \: gain \: any \: help \\ \\ \\ thnx
