\mathfrak{\green{\huge{Solution}}}

Given -:

Diameter of the base of the cylinder = 49cm

Therefore,the radius = 49/2

Radius = 24.5cm

Height of the cylinder = 8cm

We know that,

volume \: of \: the \: cylinder \: = \pi {r}^{2} h

 = (22 \div 7) \times 24.5 \times 24.5 \times 8

 = 15092 \: {cm}^{2}

\underline{\underline{\huge{\textbf{Solution:}}}}

Given,
Diameter of the base of the Cylinder d = 49\: cm

Height of the Cylinder h = 8\: cm

Volume of the Cylinder V = ?

\underline{\large{\textsf{Step-1:}}}
Find the radius of base of Cylinder

Since,
Base of the Cylinder is a circle

We have,
Diameter = 2 \times Radius

\implies Radius = \dfrac{Diameter}{2}

\therefore Radius\: of\: Base\: of\: Cylinder, \, r= \dfrac{d}{2}

Substituting Values

\implies r = \dfrac{49}{2}

\implies r = 24.5\: cm

.\underline{\large{\textsf{Step-2:}}}
Find the Volume of Cylinder

We have,
Volume of the Cylinder  V = \pi r^{2} h

Substituting Values

\implies V = \pi \times (24.5)^{2} \times 8

\implies V = \frac{22}{7} \times (600.25) \times 8

\implies V = 15092\: cm^{3}

\therefore
Volume of the Cylinder with base of diameter 49 cm and height 8 cm is \underline{15092\: cm^{3}}
