★ Given -:

Diameter of base of right circular cylinder = 35 m

height = 21 m

★ To find -:

Curved surface area

★ Solution -:

We know that ,

→ curved surface area of right circular cylinder = 2πrh

Diameter = 2 × radius

_______________________________________

35 = 2 × radius

radius = 35/2

→ radius = 17.5 m

_______________________________________

by putting the values in the formula

π = 22/7

 = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 17.5 \times 21

 = \dfrac{44}{\cancel{7}} \times 17.5 \times \cancel{21}

 = 44 \times 17.5 \times 3

 \purple{\therefore Curved\: surface\: area \: is \: equal \: to \: 2,310 \: m^2}

Additional Information -:

Total surface area of cylinder =

2πr (r + h)

where ,

r is radius .

h is height .

As we know,

Curved surface area of right circular cylinder = 2πrh

Diameter = 2 × radius

35 = 2 × radius

radius = 35/2

☞ radius = 17.5 m

After putting their values in the formula

π = 22/7

=  2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 17.5 \times 21=2× </p><p>7</p><p>22</p><p>	</p><p> ×17.5×21 </p><p></p><p>= </p><p>

 \dfrac{44}{\cancel{7}} \times 17.5 \times \cancel{21}= </p><p>7</p><p>	</p><p> </p><p>44</p><p>	</p><p> ×17.5× </p><p>21</p><p> </p><p></p><p>= 44 \times 17.5 \times 3=44×17.5×3
