Here is the solution:

----------------------------------------

Find the radius:

Radius = Diameter ÷ 2

Radius = 4.2 ÷ 2

Radius = 2.1 dm

Convert all units to cm:

2.1 dm = 21 cm

1 dm = 10 cm

Find the curved surface area:

Curved Surface Area = 2πrh

Curved Surface Area = 2π(21)(10) = 1320 cm²

Answer: The area of the curved surface is 1320 cm²

here is your answer OK

1dm=10cm

So the height is 10cm and the diameter is 42cm.

Area of the curved surface of cylinder is 2πrh.

=2×(22/7)×21×10

=44×3×10

=1320 sq cm

Thanks for asking .

I hope this helps !!!
