Heya dear user !!!

Here is your answer,

================================

Given :-
Diameter of base of a right circular cylinder is 7 cm.
height is 40 cm.

We know that diameter = 2×radius
..................OR.............
radius = diameter/2

So,
the radius of the cylinder = 7/2 cm = 3.5 cm

Volume of cylinder = πr²h ( in which 'r' is the radius and 'h' is the height.

So,
Volume = πr²h

= 22/7 × (3.5)² × 40

= 22/7 × 12.25 × 40

= 1540

Hence, volume of the cylinder is 1540 cm cube.

================================

Hope it helps.

Hi this is ur answer = base of cylinder =7cm
Height of cylinder = 49 cm
Volume of cylinder =pie r square h
In the formula of cylinder we need radius, but there is diameter, radius is half of diameter, so we take half 7 that is 3.5.
22/7*3.5*3.5*40= 1540.
1540 is ur answer... Hope it will help you!
