GIVEN :-

Base = 42Cm

Height = 10Cm.

TO FIND :-

Volume of the Cylinder.

SOLUTION :-

Diameter of the base of the cylinder

= 42Cm

∴r = radius of the base of the cylinder

= 21 Cm.

 h = height of the cylinder

= 10 Cm

∴ curved surface area of the cylinder =  2πrh

= 2×22/7×10cm²

= 2×22×3×10cm²

= 1320cm²

Total surface area of the cylinder = 2πr(h+r)

= 2×22/7×21×(10+21)cm²

= 2×22×3×31cm²

= 4092 cm²
