                   the formula to find lateral surface area of a cylinder is=

given:

radius(r)=diameter/2 i.e 1.4/2=0.7 m

height(h)=2 m

   now substituting the above mentioned in the formula

                                                 =   2*22/7*0.7*2

                                                 =8.8 m^2

Since the roller makes 5 revolutions the area covered by it will be five times the area we found out ,so

                                            =5*8.8

                                           =44 m^2
