The diameter of the Sun is 1.4*10 raised to the power 9m and that of the Earth is 1.2756*10 raised to the power 7m. How many times is the diameter of the Sun greater as compared to that of the Earth (Approx.)?

This is a simple question based on the basic concepts of multiplication,division and some of the rules of exponents.

So, what I did here was we just need to divide the sun's diameter by the earth's diameter. After doing so we will get that the diameter of the sun is nearly hundred times the diameter of the earth.

You should keep in mind that the answer we get in these type of questions are approximate. Even in the question, the word 'nearly' is given.
