Dimensions of Wheel -

Diameter = 1.26 m

Radius = (1.26 / 2) m = 0.63 m = 630 cm

Circumference of the Wheel -

= 2Πr

= [ 2 × 22 / 7 × 630 ] cm

= [ 2 × 22 × 90 ] cm

= 3960 cm

Total revolutions by the wheel = 500

∴ Total distance travelled by the wheel

= No. of revolutions × circumference of wheel

= [ 500 × 3960 ] cm

= 1,980,000 cm

= 19,800 m

Hence, the total distance travelled by the wheel is 19,800 meters.

Answer: 2750m

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of the wheel = 1.75/2

Distance covered in 1 second = circumference of the wheel

Distance covered in 1 sec = (2 x 22/7 x 1.75/2) m

= 5.5m

Let the distance covered in 500 revolution be a

5.5 x 500 = a

a = 55 x 50

a = 2750 m
