Given diameter is 77cm

First of all we need to find circumference.

We know that circumference = 2πr

Or we can write circumference = πd

Hence, give circumference =
 \frac{22}{7}  \times 77 \\  =  > 22 \times 11 \\  =  > 242
242 cm

Now given distance is 12 km

We need to convert km to cm

1 km = 1000 m
1m = 100 cm

So 1km = 1000 × 100cm
1 km = 1,00,000 cm
=> 12km = 12,00,000cm

So revolution required to cover a distance of 12,00,000cm = distance given ÷ circumference

= 12,00,000/242
= 4958.67 revolution approx

So it would nearly requires 4959 revolution

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️✌️

Answer :

The diameter of the wheel of the car is

d = 77 cm

Then, its circumference be

S = πd cm

= (π × 77) cm

= (22/7 × 77) cm

= (22 × 11) cm

= 242 cm

We know that, 1 km = 100000 cm

Then, L = 12 km = 1200000 cm

To travel 12 km, the wheel will revolve

= L/S times

= 1200000/242 times

= 4959 times (approximately)
