r = 45.5cm
2πr = 2×22/7 × 45.5=286
Total distance covered= 286× 1000
= 286000cm
Now,we can change in m
286000/100
= 2860m

Answer:

Given :

Diameter of wheel (D ) = 91 cm.

Radius of wheel (R) = D /2 = 91/2=45.5 cm.

Distance travelled by the vehicle when the wheel complete 1 revolution = circumference of the wheel which is a circle

∴ Distance travelled by the vehicle when the wheel rotates 1 time= 2\piπ R

= 2 × (22/7) × 45.5 ( where \piπ = 22/7)

= (2 × 22×45.5 ) /7=2002 /7= 286 cm.

Distance travelled by the vehicle when the wheel rotates 1000 times = 286 × 1000 = 286000 cm.

100 cm = 1 m.

1 cm. 1/100 m.

286000 cm. 286000 / 100m.= 2860 m.
