Question 1:-

The diameter of two circle are in ratio 3 : 2. Find the ratio of their area.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Soluton:

Area of Circle 1 : Area of Circle 2

= \pi {r}_{1}^{2} : \pi {r}_{2}^{2}

 =  \dfrac{\pi {r}_{1}^{2} }{\pi {r}_{2}^{2} }

 =  \dfrac{ {r}_{1}^{2} }{ {r}_{2}^{2} }

 =  {( \dfrac{r1}{r2}) }^{2}

 =  {( \dfrac{3}{2}) }^{2}

 =  \dfrac{9}{4}

\red{\bold{\boxed { = 9 : 4}}}

Question 2:-

Find the area of circle whose circumference is 77 cm.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Solution:-

Circumference = 77cm

→ 2πr = 77cm

→ r × 2 × (22/7)= 77 cm

→ r × 44/7= 77 cm

→ r = 77 × 7/44 cm

r = 49/ 4 cm

Area of the circle:

= \pi {r}^{2}

 =  \dfrac{22}{7}  \times  \dfrac{49}{4}  \times  \dfrac{49}{4}

= 471.625 cm²
