the diameter of two circles is 3.5 and 4.2. find the ratio of the area of the smaller circle to that of the bigger circle.

area of bigger circle = πr2^2

=22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5 = 3.5*3.5= 0.5*0.5= 25

=22/7 * 4.2 * 4.2 =4.2*4.2 =0.6*0.6 = 36

ratio = 25:36
