The diameter of two circular rings are 7 cm and 12 cm. Find the ratio of their circumferences.

Diameter1 = 7cm

Diameter2 = 12cm

Circumference 1 = 22/7 X 7 = 22cm

Circumference 2 = 22/7 X 12 = 264/7 cm

Now ratio of circumference 1 to 2 =

22 X 7/264

= 7/12

Ratio = 7:12
