Heya
Diameter of first cone be 5x
Radius = 5x/2
Radius of second cone be 4x/2 = 2x
Let the slant height of first cone be 3y
Second Cone be = 8y
Curved surface area of first cone = πrl
= π(5x/2) (3y)
Curved surface area of second cone = π(2x)(8y)
Ratio = π(5x/2)(3y) : π(2x)(8y)
= 5×3/2 : 2×8
=15/2 : 16
= 15:32
Hope it helps
