hello dear
area of A/area of B= πr^2/πr^2
area of A/area of B= r^2/r^2
= (2)^2/(3)^2
=4/9
the radio of their area = 4:9
thanks dear

NUTROLLER: Um, i think the answer is missing some details. I cannot understand it thoroughly.
