radius of bigger circle = 21/2 = 10.5 cm
area = pie r sq
= 3.14 * 10.5 * 10.5 cm sq
= 346.185 cm sq
radius of big circle. = 14/2 = 7 cm
area = pie r sq
= 22/7 *7 * 7
= 154 cm sq
radius of small circle = 7/2 = 3.5 cm
area = pie r sq
= 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5
= 385 cm sq
therefore, area of shaded portion = 346.185 - ( 154+385 ) = 577.185 cm sq ans
